New RailPASS Only Lanes Phasing in at Alliance Intermodal Facility

BNSF remains committed to working collaboratively with the trucking community to enhance the driver experience at our intermodal facilities. To further this effort, we are expanding the use of RailPASS at key intermodal locations, helping to improve driver turn times and facility fluidity.

At our Alliance, Texas intermodal facility, we will be designating the following lanes as RailPASS-only lanes over a phased approach
     1.    Monday, February 24: Lanes 1 – 7* & 12
     2.    Monday, March 3: Lanes 1 – 8 & 11 – 12
     3.    Monday, March 10: Lanes 1 – 8 & 10 – 12
(*Lanes 1 – 6 at the facility are currently RailPASS-only lanes)

BNSF teams will be at the facility Tuesday, Feb. 25, as well as Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4 to assist drivers with downloading RailPASS and answering questions about the app. For both new and current users, please download the latest version through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 

Upcoming Feature: Current Location Map Functionality

Also beginning on Monday, March 3, RailPASS will pilot a new map function at Alliance, TX. This feature allows drivers to see the exact location of their assigned wheeled pick-up or drop-off spot. Drivers can simply tap the map icon in the unit details page to navigate effortlessly to their assigned location.
