Final Report: Train Derailment near Big Lake, MN (Staples Subdivision)

On Saturday, July 20, 2024 at approximately 03:16 A.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Big Lake, MN which has affected both main tracks. Big Lake, MN is 46 miles railroad west of St Paul, MN. BNSF personnel are responded and assessed the site. Main Track two opened on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 06:45 A.M. CDT and Main Track one opened on Sunday, July, 21 at 07:30 P.M CDT.
