BNSF Automotive 2026 Memorial Day Operating Plan

This year, the Memorial Day holiday falls on Monday, May 25.  BNSF will operate automotive trains over the holiday, and our automotive facilities will remain fully staffed and open for haulaway during normal scheduled hours. Connecting carriers who have reduced operations may cause delays on interline traffic. As a result, we anticipate some extending of our service schedules as we consolidate volumes to fill trains. We expect shipments arriving on the holiday, Monday, May 25, may experience delays of 24 hours. 

CUSTOMER SUPPORT
For interactive tracing 365 days a year, please use BNSF’s tracing web tool by logging into the BNSF Customer Portal with your username and password and selecting Trace on the homepage. If you have questions regarding a shipment(s), please utilize the Message Us feature on the BNSF Customer Portal (must be registered/logged in to access) or contact BNSF Customer Support at 1-888-428-2673.
 
Customer Support will maintain a limited staff on Memorial Day. Normal coverage will resume on Tuesday, May 26.
