Mission
To share and nurture a professional approach toward career development that will uplift, support, and develop African-Americans and others, while adding value to BNSF's community.
Objectives
- Implement developmental resources that will enhance professional and personal performance
- Advance BNSF's commitment to valuing and respecting similarities as well as differences
- Provide positive and proactive leadership to increase participation and membership in AANG
- Maintain a strong African-American network and providing peer support to AANG members
- Assist BNSF in recruiting and retaining diverse talent
- Enhance BNSF's corporate image by actively participating in various local and national diversity organizations and community service projects
BNSF Asian American Network
Mission
- Provide professional and personal development opportunities.
- Sponsor and conduct social, intellectual and cultural activities.
- Act as a liaison between BAAN and Team BNSF.
- Leverage our combined talents to provide BNSF a competitive advantage in world class transportation services.
Objectives
- Increase active membership participation.
- Create awareness among BNSF employees about Asian cultures.
- Organize leadership development and community service activities.

BNSF Women's Network
Mission
To promote the personal and professional development of BNSF women by creating programs and opportunities that add value to the community.
Objectives
To establish a channel of communication, and offer a collective voice on women’s issues, between the BNSF Women's Network, Corporate Leadership and the BNSF community.
- To establish programs to benefit all BNSF employees' personal and professional development
- To encourage networking and sharing of common interests within the Network
- To provide exposure opportunities for Network members with BNSF Leadership
- To support BNSF's Corporate Diversity efforts
Council Of Native Americans
Mission
- To advance the developmental opportunities within BNSF by promoting educational, mentoring, coaching, and recruiting efforts.
- We seek to promote awareness of the Native American historical contribution to the Railroad.
- Also, to recognize the present and future contributions of the BNSF Native American Community.
- To encourage and promote the involvement of programs and activities to foster the culture of Native Americans in cooperation with the BNSF Diversity Council.
Hispanic Leadership Council
Mission
To advance the personal and professional development of the BNSF Hispanic community and leverage our talents to provide BNSF a competitive advantage in world class transportation services.
Objectives
- Provide membership with professional and developmental growth opportunities.
- Help BNSF reach its objectives by serving as a partner in activities to project a positive and professional image for our organization.
- Involvement in Hispanic and community events.
- Serve as a liaison to senior management through our executive sponsors regarding our organization's concerns.
- Support BNSF Hispanic recruitment efforts.
