Performing Rail Mile Search:

Auto Fill

  • The STCC and Station name entry boxes have an auto fill feature that will generate a list of results after the first 3 characters have been typed in a drop down result set. The result set will refine for each letter after the third letter. Therefore, the more letters one enters, the smaller the result set list becomes.

Entering STCCs

  • In the STCC field, begin typing the name of the Station you are searching for. After the first 3 characters have been typed, a drop down result set will appear that displays all the STCCs that start with the numbers or letters you have entered. A seven digit STCC is required for this field.

Entering Stations

  • In the Station name field, begin typing the name of the Station you are searching for. After the first 3 characters have been typed, a drop down result set will appear that displays all the stations that start with those letters you have entered.
  • To select the station from the dropdown list you have two options:
    1. With the mouse, click on the desired station in the result set list and it will be populated into the entry box.
    2. Use the down arrow on the keyboard to highlight the desired station and press the enter key to populate it into the entry box.

Calculate Miles

  • Viewing the Results

    • Successful

    • Unsuccessful
