Resource Operations Call Center
The Resource Operations Call Center is the emergency call center for the BNSF Railway. The ROCC is recognized as an industry leader in developing and supporting state-of-the-art technologies used to facilitate emergency call handling solutions for transportation companies. The ROCC acts as the primary urgent and emergency contact for BNSF employees, public emergency agencies, and concerned citizens. This center utilizes a widely distributed nationwide emergency "800" number, together with a Computer Aided Dispatch system, to efficiently initiate an organizational response to track obstructions, crimes against the railroad, derailments, grade crossing accidents, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergencies. A Global Information System integrates the private railroad infrastructure with the public domain, allowing the operations center to quickly identify the physical location of an incident on the system and organize an appropriate response. Our staff of professional certified police officers and dispatchers provide unique police and security solutions for customers in support of a wide variety of transportation needs.
