TRANSCAER

element Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response (TRANSCAER) is a transportation industry initiative supporting the training and education of emergency responders and local agencies for communities.

In support of the TRANSCAER effort, the BNSF Hazardous Materials Team has trained more than 52,000 community emergency service personnel since 1996. These responders include fire, police, emergency medical technicians, Hazardous Materials, public works, state and federal agencies, and similar personnel from American Indian reservations.
